Lake Erie Surfing

East Coast surfer Ben Gravy is one of the best surfers to ever grace the Lake Erie shores at Presque Isle State Park in Erie, PA. Ben ripped wave after wave out in the frigid cold water on Beach 1. It was the first time Ben has ever surfed on Lake Erie, and he’s originally from PA (eastern part). In the words of Ben Gravy, “it was fully nuking”.

Ohio's premier surf spot on Lake Erie in Lorain, Ohio is known as Spitzers. The spot attracts surfers from other states, and local spectators on the regular.

One of the best surf sessions that ever went down on Lake Erie at Presque Isle State Park on October 26, 2013. More than 15-20 surfers were out in the cold water at one time to enjoy the SW gale swells on Beach 1.
